In the heart of the Meatpacking District, a curious ice cream-based experience is about to unveil. A museum, in fact.
The Museum of Ice Cream will be launching a Pop-Up location at 100 Gansevoort Street. Curated by a collective of ice cream obsessed designers, artists and friends, this institute of pleasure resides just a few scoops away from the Whitney Art Museum and the Gansevoort Street entrance to the High Line.
The interactive highlights of The Museum of Ice Cream include a swimmable rainbow ‘sprinkle’ pool, edible balloons, an immersive chocolate room and a collaborative massive ice cream sundae. Guests will swing on an ice cream sandwich made for two, seesaw on an ice cream scooper and find their match or favorite flavor on a custom app in “Tinder Land”. Visitors will indulge in an exclusive, one-of-a-kind ice cream tasting created by food futurist Dr. Irwin Adam, founder of Future Food Studio. Visual designs from renowned NYC artists will serve as the cherry on top of this modern, whimsical urban ice cream playground.

Too Sweet to Miss
On top of these dream-like installations, Tinder decided that this opportunity was too sweet to pass up. The dating app will be sponsoring an interactive exhibit aptly named “Tinder Land”. In this section, visitors will use a custom app to find their true ice cream flavor match.
Scoop of the Week
The Museum Of Ice Cream will also host the Future Food Studio. Visitors will indulge in tastings by “food futurist” Dr. Irwin Adam. The Future Food Studio gives out the “Scoop of the Week” from best ice-cream connoisseurs like New York’s Blacktap.
